Announcing Spawn – A New Horror Short

Sicklerville, NJ, December 26, 2017:  On-Ride Entertainment, LLC. is proud to announce our new short film, Spawn. Spawn is currently in development and was created by On-Ride co-owner, Everett Burgan. Spawn is a present-day, found footage horror short slated to begin principal photography in mid-2018. Spawn is being written by Everett and Denise Baretto Perez, a new writer. Dave Walls, director of Home(less), is expected to return to direct.  Rob Bittle and Brian Targett (also co-owners) join as Development Execs and co-producers along with Everett whom will function as Executive Producer and 1st AD.

Synopsis: Jamie and Kennedy take their children, Emma and Nathan, away for the weekend to celebrate their adoption. Unfortunately, the children are harboring a dark entity that is hell-bent on ensuring this getaway is anything but pleasant.

Auditions are expected to begin in Spring 2018 and crew openings will follow shortly thereafter. Several cast members have been identified, but are not being announced at this time. Those interested in becoming part of the cast or crew should keep an eye on the On-Ride Entertainment Jobs page. The project will be micro-budget and is already partially funded. An Indiegogo campaign will follow in Spring 2018 as well.

After production the film will immediately be released to Amazon Video On-Demand in the US, UK, and Japan while simultaneously being entered into film festivals across the globe. Pricing has not yet been determined and will be communicated at a later date. Long-term plans include a feature-length version of Spawn as well.
